I got my Geforce 4 ti4200 way back then. It took forever to get a hold of somebody for a tracking number. Not sure it was worth ordering from them over newegg to save a few bucks.

gameVE is pretty reliable. there's been many deals posted here selling their products. what i'm more worried about is ALBATRON. never heard of them.

I recently bought a 64mb ti4200 card, what would I be missing out with the extra 64mb of ram. Thinking of buying this card and putting my current card in a second pc.

Never heard of Albatron? They've made a name for themselves and are up there with Gigabyte, MSI, Epox, and other good brand names. I have the Albatron ti4200 turbo which is like a ti4600 w/ a ti4200 chip and I got it to 320/720, one hella fast card.

You would be missing nothing much. In fact, video cards these days have so much memory that sit idle most of the time that some people have figured out a way to tap into that memory and use it for some other purposes, e.g. as a cache for some other apps. Of course, in order to do this, you have to config the video card driver to not access that memory anymore.

I bought from them a while ago. Pretty generic el-cheapo site, but the prices were good. However I a part die, and basically if you have any trouble at all you can considered youself fux0red. I'll never buy there again, but if the parts aren't bad and you don't have to return this would be a nice deal!

I've dealt with gameve before and I'd say I was satisfied with the service. The thing I disliked was the lack of a willcall service...I basically live 2 miles away from them and I had to pay $5 shipping..

This sounds very interesting. Do you have any links?
