I have an Abatron Medusa Ti 4200P 128 Turbo in old PC. Upgrading its BIOS to a 4600 would make it more stable when overclocking or even conver it in a 4600, but I am not able to find the BIOS file. Anyone knows where can I find it?

I don't know if the Ti4600 supplies more voltage than the Ti4200 but I do know that almost all known Ti4200's were made on cheaper PCB's with fewer layers and (fewer caps I think), with the exception of certain overclocking Ti4200's, like ABIT's OTES.

I think a Ti4600 BIOS might screw up your card, and it really isn't worth it for the possibility of a minor o/c boost (most Ti4200's do Ti4400+ speeds anyway).

On a side note, the name Albatron always struck me as weird. Sounds a lot like Galvatron from Transformers to me... Plus Albatross. Albatross + Galvatron = Albatron.

I don't think flashing a Ti 4200 to a Ti 4600 is a good idea. The Ti 4200 and the Ti 4600 uses different PCBs (the 4600 PCB is larger than the 4200 PCB).

For your information the Albatron Medusa Ti4200 128P Turbo PCB is the one of the Ti4600 (the larger one with 8 layers). It has high quality 3.3ns memories with heatsinks, and overcloked easily reachs 330/650Mhz, getting even better performance than the Ti4600. It was one of the best 4200 Released, if not the best.

The review.

In the review, the card reachs 305/730.

Don't tell me that that card won't reach the Ti4600 levels.
