I'm thinking about taking the plunge on an Albatron 3.3ns Ti4200 128 MB card for $185. However, would it be just as wise (maybe not wise at all?) to consider a Gainward Ti4200 128 MB for 20 bucks cheaper or so? I've read the Gainward's are good overclockers so what kind of performance can I expect out of it compared to the Albatron? I've also seen an ATI 9000 Pro 128 MB 3.3ns for $156, so is that a card to consider as well? After reading through these forums, I was pretty much under the impression that any Ti4200 would take out an ATI 9000 Pro so any further insight would be great! I'm just having a little bit of a hard time deciding and would appreciate any comments on this. Thank you!

Hi, i am also trying to findout which geforce 4 ti 4200 to get and i would recommend Asus V8420 deluxe as it is a well respected brand and it uses the g4 4400 board and 3.3ns bga ram to ensure better cooling

for $185 you should just get a geforce 4 Ti4400 instead. THe geforce ti4400 are around $195 so you wouldnt be paying that much.

Newegg has the regular version of the Albatron Ti4200P for 154 with free shipping. When you say $185, I assume you are looking at Albatrons Ti4200P Turbo model.

I ordered the Ti4200P for a friend a week ago, when he got it a capacitor fell off right out of the bag. We RMA'd it back to newegg and are awaiting the new one.

Why not save up the dough and take a real plunge, Radeon 9700? :D
