MAKE SURE YOU GET A 128bit Memory Bus on your Geforce FX 5200

I got coned into buying a 128MB Albatron Gefiorce FX 5200EP With a 64Bit mem bus clocked at 250MHz core and 300Mhz ram

the thing is slower then a Geforce4 440 and just a little faster then a Geforce2mx 400 .... AAAGGGHHHH

WHY ME :( for $7 more i could have got the Leadtek FX 5200 128mb 128bit memory bus :( 250Core and 400Mhz Ram

Is there any way to tell if you're getting the 128 bit interface? I am about to buy an fx 5200 but I am very worried about this. There are several Inno3d cards on Pricewatch for as low as $60, which are generally high rated, but if they only use a 64 bit memory bus then they'll be crap. I called the company (Amamax) but they didn't know. Please, if anyone knows how to tell the 64 from 128 apart let me know, otherwise I'm gonna have to go with an ATI card where at least I know what I'm getting. Thanks.

You can try looking on the manufacture?s website they normally state it on there.

I didnt do that and now i'm paying for it with poor performance

wow, i read that all 128mb version were 128bit interface, while the 64mb version was the one with the variations, either 64 or 128bit. guess im wrong.

they should rename this to like 5200 SE so that people could differentiate it. i mean they did it previously with the g4 420(64bit), and g4 440(128bit).
