If anyone is interested, there is a Machinegun shoot this weekend in Albany, OR thats billed as the largest west of the Mississippi.

Edit: FYI, if you have never shot a MG, nows your chance! You will be able to shoot one for the cost of ammo.

A nice assortment of toys... Shot the Sig 552 (camo) and the G36K, both of which I shot for the first time. I was more impressed with the G36K than I thought I would be... Along with a UMP which I had handled before, but never shot.

And a picture of an M3 (MG34in .308) that I got to run 50 rounds through... very nice!

soooo tempting...but I'd need someone to carpool with me, gas is expensive even though my car gets good mileage :(

I went to the one in Grants pass this last summer, I think I'll have to head to Albany as it's only 15 mi away :D here's something to wet your appetite, me with an AK-47 FUN!

I used to go to that club all the time with my dad who was a member back when I was younger (12-14 or so). Tons of fun. I got to shoot just about every automatic rifle I'd ever heard of from MP5s to Thompsons as well as a bunch of ones I'd never even seen. Most of those guys are pretty cool. The ones that dress like they're navy seals are just irritating, though.

To be able to shoot for the cost of ammo, though. Damn that's a good deal. I might have to head down there.

Didn't shoot the Aug... maybe tomorrow if I can resuscitate my wallet... :D

I will try and get some pics, they had several different barrel configurations, from the shorty to the sniper rifle.
