Alaska Pics - Updated

People were asking for pictures of Alaska as well as Pictures from a DX6490 camera...

These images are all resized and compressed but you can view the whole lot of photos at ofoto.com here:
http://www.ofoto.com/I.jsp?c=19nha006.bagh9ty&x=0&y=4stx2a.

I sized them al to 1024 x 768 but I'm not sure how you can view them at that size on the ofotoc.com site. They should be in order they were taken and the stops were Vancouver, Ketchikan (Rain Forest/Whale Watching), Juneau, Skagway (Horseback Riding), Glacier Bay (Glaciers), College Fjords (Glaciers), and Whitter/Anchorage (Scenery)

If anyone wants to see any of the pictures in full size, let me know and I can add more at bbzzdd or apartment808 or just email them.

All the ones below are actual size from the camera so around 1 meg or so.Let mek now if you want to see more form above in full size.

Here's a few.

Great pics, love the bald eagle one!

It was raining that day as we went through the forest area which is why his feathers look all rough. Never saw so many bald eagles before though. Must have been 50 - 100 of them in the rain forest we took a tour through.

Alaska is so gorgeous. I really want to visit there sometime. Hell, maybe even live there, especially since I've heard that the gov't will pay you to do so.

good pics, cruise?

Yes. Princess Cruise. Started in Vancouver. Went to Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and eventually Whitter/Anchorage. Was a week long and was really cool. It did get really freaking cold and windy up on deck but when you're ssailing with glaciers and ice burgs I guess that's to be expected. heh.

Alaska rocks. 🙂 Nice pictures!

Now get a shot of one of those enormous mosquitoes. :Q

We read that there were lots of mosquitos there but we didn't see any. Guess we just got lucky.

And I never noticed the second eagle behind the branches before either. Thanks for pointing that out.

Nice pictures, Franky. I've been in Fairbanks since 1989. It doesn't have the eagles and glaciers, but I did have moose and calf in my backyard yesterday. I didn't get any pictures. I'll get some next time. My dog went nuts when she say the moose out the window.

My wife's parents used to live in Alaska and they have a picture of their dog on one side of their fence and a moose on the other and they are staring at each other almost nose to nose (moose must have had its head down or something).

We didn't see any Moose, Bear, or Orcas but we saw lots of Seals, Sealions, Eagles, Whales, etc.

The second mountain/glaciers one is WOW

That water is perfect looking...all turquoise and stuff
