Alaska 350W Power Supply?

I work for a computer repair company and was wondering if anyone has had problems with this power supply? Also if anyone knows who the hell makes this cheap ps. We get them wholesale for ~$20 and have been having a bunch come back dead 2-3 days 2-3 weeks and sometimes a month later. I would say atleats 10% or more we sell come back dead in less then a month. Was wondering if anyone knows anything about them.

I have a few options as far as replacments

the ones we have retail $47

get AOPEN 350W retail out at $62 kinda high but if they are better would be worth it

or Allied 300W for $29 retail out at $55 or so.

of AOPEN or ALLIED which is better? i hate AOPEN products but ALLIED seems generic.

Any help on this would be apreciated!

THANKS!!

Sounds like the Ultra-X crap from Tiger Direct. I'm sincerely sorry that you have to deal with terrible parts like that. As with most things in life, you get what you pay for.

problem is getting our wholesaler to carry them! Company refuses to go elsewhere even though I tell them we are getting screwed!

For example we pay $218 for barebone system

MSI Socket A MATX
Sempron 2500
256MB DDR 333
AOPEN Case

Only $175 shipped from MWAVE.com
