Alan Wake being removed from sale everywhere after 5/15

It's a lessen in how not to negotiate licensing. Apparently it's due to a couple 1980s era tracks that were put into the game. They have to stop selling it because the music license expires. After May 15th it will be available no more.

Why cant they just replace the tracks with empty sound or new songs. Maybe its a marketing gimmick? Its definately worth it though.

It's on sale at several vendors. The best place to grab it is from the Humble store as it comes with the collector's edition and also comes with both Steam and drm free versions.

If you own it, you can still download it after it's been removed from the store. American Nightmare will continue to be for sale.
