The governor of Alabama declared May 16th "Taylor Hicks Day". he's some guy from American Idol I guess.

I don't know much abotu Alabama so let me ask you all this question - Is there no one from Alabama that has done anything thats more deserving of having a day named after them than some idiot on a stupid reality tv show?

Sad eh? I am from Birmingham and the big "to do" is because this is the 3rd person from the Birmingham Metro area to make it to the final three on Idol... Just got some coffee from the break room and one of my co-workers is sitting in there watching a TV special on Taylor while reading a newspaper article on Taylor.. Meh... Glad I got rid of cable...

Yeah they annouced on the radio this morning that there's going to be a parade for this prick and then some big to do at Art on the Rocks for him this evening.

I was playing golf with a couple of my buddies when one of them missed a putt and screamed "TAYLOR HICKS CAN TAKE A $HIT IN MY MOUTH!" I feel the same.. but I do like him better that that hippy Bo Bice.
