This won't be for 10 or so generations. Most minorities, with the exception of blacks, are from impoverished nations very recently. They understand that some things might be against them here in the US, due to their minority status, but know it is still better than where they came from.

This kind of idiocy won't become a problem until more minorities are "from here" for long enough, they don't really have a home nation outside of the US. And, by that time, there is a very good chance the political climate will change from old, white people running things to younger and more progressive people of all colors.

The best way to deal with him at this point is to ignore him to the greatest extent possible. When people speak of Al Sharpton, the answer should be Al who? I found a list a while back of the corporations that supported his National Action Network and started researching whom to contact at each to ask them to cease supporting it but it became a bigger task than I was willing to take on. If enough people let these corporations know that they will no longer be supporting them if they support Sharpton his financial position will be undermined to a degree that will relegate him to obscurity.

And if he wants to shake down the movie industry they have the ultimate weapon against him if they grow a pair and use it. A movie about his life with nothing held back. The man has been involved in the periphery in a lot of deaths.
