The next 3 games will dictate the AL MVP.

Game 1:

ARod: 0/3, 1BB, Error
Ortiz: 1/2, 2BB, RBI

Advantage, Ortiz. 🙂

it should work both ways, if ARods Errors can be held AGAINST him than Ortiz should have an automatic negative because he doesn't even play the outfield.

if so, based on this seasons numbers, i'd take ARod. if you DON'T count D, than take that error out of there.

My point was, it's about coming up BIG when it counts. Ortiz did just that tonight, Arod didn't.

Big Pappy, David Ortiz. Big hits all year long.

NL = Andruw Jones, in the post steroids era of baseball we finally get to see the best player in baseball shine.

He has definately carried that team and deserves it, though I personally am not a fan of the Braves.

and my point is, we don't KNOW what ortiz would have done in the FIELD, so IF you want to count ARods ERROR AGAINST him than you must also count FOR him the brilliant 3rd base he's played most of the season. and ORTIZ hasn't played in the field so that should count AGAINST HIM.

you can't have it both ways. either show us the error stats or don't but if you do than also factor in that Ortiz is just a DH.

also, forgot todays stats:

ARod 4 for 5, 1 HR
Ortiz 1 for 5, 0 HR 0 RBI's.

ya, i can clearly see ortiz came up bigger IN the clutch.

Welp, justice is served and Mr. Hamburger Helper hand won the AL MVP, the final count was something like 331 to 307 votes. I thought all along the Ortiz deserved it but what do I know, pretty boy can have all the individual awards he wants but Ortiz still something he doesn't.
