It's been like a year since I had subscription (though Jump TV) but I find myself missing their programming. They provided good perspective on world events and stories. Not the best for continuous new content, but good in addition to watching news from CNN, BBC, and local news.

I watch the BBC on PBS on occassion but thats the extent of my foriegn news TV coverage. Im not sure if I would watch Al Jazeera to keep up with Dar es Salaam however.

They used to be on my Opera start screen for "another perspective," but really, they're bloody nutjobs.

considering the garbage they spew on the foreign version stirring up hate. i would never support them with a dime

I read it online from time to time, but I understand Arabic so I just watch the regular one.

I don't fully disagree with you, but it's good to remember that they get a LOT of flak from the Arab world for being too sympathetic to Israel and the US.
