So a man gets a nod for promoting a lie and false science

Prove that global warming is a lie and false science. :|

Ulfwald, scientists who are far more knowledgeable than you or I can't agree can't agree on the cause of global warming. What do you know that they don't that gives you the ability to discern the cause?

What annoys me most is how much politics have influenced the global warming debate. People who aren't even scientists are telling people what to believe. It's absurd.

Edit:
case in point:
You have to be from California. Hotbed of liberal brainless ideas.

Poor Gore. He's not looking so healthy in that pic. It's got to be difficult for a guy to win the popular vote and not win the election. 🙁

It's just as difficult for the country.

He says that the increased solar brightness over the past 20 years has not been enough to cause the observed climate changes but believes that the impact of more intense sunshine on the ozone layer and on cloud cover could be affecting the climate more than the sunlight itself.

Hardly proof...More like theory. I would be willing to read more about this but I'm not willing to dismiss global warming based on that alone.

Besides, the only thing this does, if true, is exacerbate the problem.

You have to be from California. Hotbed of liberal brainless ideas.

Somehow, you've done absolutely nothing to persuade me with that cunning display of your awesome powers of persuasion. What were the odds...

Global warming is not a lie, but the crap that Gore was spewing was. Of course if you portray it any other way people just aren't going to care.

Nonesense, this issue now political. Unfortunately, so many sheeply now rely on politicans rather than scientists. Now, put the words of a scientist in a politicans mouth and most people such as yourself will automatically default to the political discussion and ignore the scientific facts. Such is life i suppose....

Exactly what I'm saying. Democrats tend to believe humans cause global warming, and republicans tend to believe that humans do not cause global warming (or in some cases, that global warming does not exist at all). The fact that it is divided down party lines like that should tell you something about how people came to have the beliefs they have about it.
