Republicans want to spend money on wars, the military, and give tax cuts for those who already have plenty of money, "Debt is good for the country!"

You forgot about Republican social spending, which they so conveniently ignore. They may not have campaigned on it, but over Bush's time in office, poverty entitlements have more than doubled, domestic discretionary spending has reached record levels and, of course, let's not forget about the prescription drug bill.
