What? I made a good point, you ignored it in favour of making a stupid joke, and you think you're right? Does anyone here really think that the girl didn't absolutely love what happened to her on stage? Anyone think she didn't go around to her teeny-bopper friends the next day and spread her story around so everyone knew that she was the teeny who go dry-humped by this loser?

That wasn't a joke. It was a serious question, based on your statement that you "would have given anything." But if you couldn't even take the question seriously, then you must know how unacceptable that behavior is. At least for you, maybe it's different for her, for some reason?

What the hell are you talking about? You're saying that because a heterosexual 14 year old boy wouldn't let Marilyn Manson dry-hump him, that a 14 year old horny heterosexual (presumably) girl wouldn't enjoy the treatment she got from Akon? How do you make that leap in logic?

Edit - do you seriously think that she didn't enjoy what happened to her that night, or are you just being intentionally contentious?

When did I ever say she didn't enjoy it? I don't give a flying flip whether she enjoyed it - that doesn't make it acceptable behavior. Are you saying that it does?

Yes, from Akon's part it is totally acceptable. She was a willing participant and presumably (from his point of view) over 18. He did nothing wrong.

But the thought of MM doing it to you is too "stupid" to consider. Why is that, do you think?

Because I'm heterosexual
Because I never dressed like something MM would want to fvck
Because I never offered myself to him
Because when I was 14 I looked 14
Because when I was 14 I never entered 18+ gigs
...

But it would have been okay, if you enjoyed it. Isn't that your standard for Akon?

Considering no one under 18 was supposed to be in there, and how that chick could EASILY pass as over 18, I think it is ridiculous that all this crap is happening to him.

They said that Verizon is now dropping his ringtones that they were promoting on TV and what not because of this, and he's also not going to be opening up for Gwen Stefani (I think that's who it was) on her concert because of this.

BS if you ask me.

Not true, i went to the concert on Wednesdays he was opening up for her..

Let's back up a moment and define our terms.

Are we talking about morality or legality? Do you think Akon should be legally punished for his actions, or just boycotted/disliked?

YES! What don't you f'n get about this. If I were a willing participant on Marilyn Manson's stage, and he had every reason to believe I was over 18, and no laws were being broken (aside from the age thing, ie all clothes remained on, etc.) then YES, that is fine. Don't like it? Don't go to his concerts or buy his CDs.

What I don't get is why you didn't just say "no" to my question. If there was nothing wrong with a celeb taking advantage of a little fan-worship, then why did you assume the question was a "stupid joke"? Maybe because it's okay for Akon to take advantage of some girl whose name you don't even know, but not okay for MM to take advantage of you?

Okay maybe I flew off the handle a little bit, I really did think you were making a wise-crack at me so I apologize if I misinterpreted your post earlier. The fact is that yes, given the same circumstances except replacing Akon with Marilyn Manson and the girl with a willing, homosexual, 14 year-old version of me then yes, I think it's okay for a similar thing to happen.

I'm not saying that I approve or appreciate that sort of behaviour, I'm merely saying that if it were to happen then I have no right to object on legal grounds, aside from the underage thing which is beyond the control of the performer.

I absolutely support your right to object on moral grounds, provided you object to all public displays of sexuality, and not just because you don't like Akon and want to use this as an excuse to dish on a rapper.

Edit - I also believe that Akon was under no obligation to apologize. I am tempted to say good on him for doing it, but it was purely out of self preservation and certainly not out of respect for the girl, her family or his fans.

And did he apologize for how much time he has done in the joint? I believe it?s roughly 20% of his life. He?s 25, and I?m pretty sure he?s done 5 years, 3 of which were for grand theft auto, the others for armed robbery and drug dealing.

The guy's an animal.

Animal? The guy hasn't killed anyone. You can save the drama.
you don't have to mortally wound someone to be classified as an animal.

he looked like he was in the rut throwing that girl around and pumping her like he was going pop through his pants.

Are you an animal because last time I checked, every human being is an animal, not just AKON.
are you a retard? cause last time i checked everyone in this thread knew what i meant except you.

Explain yourself, idiot. Do-gooders like you are the ones with closets full of skeletons. You say that he spent 20% of his life in prison, but he's only 25. If he was 100, it would only be 5%. Quit your carping and enjoy the video.
the e-thuggery is big in this one.
Next time you're banging you bf/gf/husband/wife do us all a favor shed a tear lest we think you're actually enjoying it. The guy made some mistakes in his life, now he's an animal? I know the worst thing you ever did was miss that spot and you asked god for forgiveness but, believe it or not, we're all not perfect. This was a concert for a certain type of crowd and that girl went in there looking for some fun. You judging him for playing his part strikes me as jealousy cause nobody would look twice at you.
yes, he's an animal, and you are a douchebag.

i love how you think you have me pegged and you are so wrong.
keep making a fool of yourself. you should get up on stage with Akon and champion his cause. maybe he'll take you for a spin right there on the floor too.
Thanks for the advice but I'm a straight shooter. When it comes to my ass, things only go one way...out.

That's much clearer, thank you.

My objection is based on the fact that the display he put on was way over the top, even for someone of legal age, and even in an 18+ venue. His fans paid good money to see him, not to see him humping some chicklet from the audience.

And on the fact that his actions didn't only impact him and the girl. Verizon dropped their sponsorship of Gwen Stefani's tour - do you think she won't feel the effects of that? Even if their action is based on the fact that the girl was underage, it was a risk Akon took on his own. He chose to leave the details in someone else's hands, and it's the details that always seem to bite these celebs in the ass. Why they always think they're immune, I'll never understand. He's no Janet Jackson, and what has she done for you lately? ;)

There's this thing called "negative attention" - you might want to look into it.

That means more money. YOU can take that to the bank. And stop with the corporate this or that cause the corporation exists for one reason: to make money.
Guess where that money comes from? That's right, your pocket.

I enjoyed the video because it was entertainment.
Mind if I dryhump your sister/wife/gf/mother on video? I mean, it's entertainment, right? You'll slap-box the one-eyed-champ to that, at least until you see her face. Hell, who knows, that might be what floats your boat.

All you critics hating on this guy are just jealous either cause you can't make in one year what he makes in one day or because he can get any woman he wants.
A little self-reflection there of why you idolize him, perhaps?

- M4H

Negative attention my ass, this guy is an "animal" as far as most here are concerned. You don't buy his music anyway, but little Timmie and Erika do. There's nothing people like you can do to hurt his sales. NOTHING.

I listen to his music and I bought one of his CDs years ago and I'll buy another one. This video won't change a damn thing as far as his fans are concerned.

You wanna dry-hump someone from my family? Go ahead. If they are of legal age and made that choice, it's not my business. But if it's something you did to antagonize me against their consent, you can expect more than me going online to bitch about it. You can expect that unimaginable things will happen to you:)

What if someone who works as a producer for a hip-hop/R&B tour thinks that he doesn't want Akon humping underage girls at an event he's responsible for, and decides not to book him because he's an "animal?" Whoops, there goes your "nothing you can do" theory.

Of course, they all wish it was them humping the little skank. Maybe if they buy enough CDs, deal enough drugs, and shoot enough people, they can make it big and bang underage groupies too.

Then that individual will be fired ASAP and another tool will replace him. He may have done the right thing for his conscience but it'll hurt his pocket.

There's always people like you. I knew this white kid named Chris. He would only listen to hardcore rap music. He thought he was black and a thug. Well, he went to Harlem one day and tried to fit in. They clowned on him so hard that he stopped listening to rap and now listens to Z100 in NYC. What a joke. You wanna see thug? Go to Iraq, Pakistan, or a local death row near you. I don't claim to be thug, but once they're done with you, you may spend the rest of your days cowering under your bed. You have no idea what real thugs are capable of doing to you and Akon ain't one of them.

And for you moshquerade, stop hating cause you're ugly.
