So I just finished watching this movie.


One word: memorable.


I really haven't been into anime more so becasue of ignorance than because of any valid opinion and experience on the subject. I must say, althoug hthis movie left me with a few questions, it was still a great movie.


Any others like it?

No problem, some of them aren't like Akira though. Spirited Away was just awesome though. Kinda like alice in wonderland I guess.
 
Don't know if cbeater hangs out here, but he says asians )god love them( don't really get down to that. akira is better the second or third time you see it though.

yeah, i don't know if it was just hyped up so much and i was expecting a lot, but meh, akira wasn't that great, make sure you read the manga if you want a CHANCE at understanding it
 
Another vote for Jin-Roh

Berserk is an excellent series
GTO is simply hilarious
Hellsing was meh ok

lots of good stuff out there man!
 
Agreed, Akira is better after seeing it a few times and understanding everything a little better. The first time I was it left me very confused.

The DVD is worth it. 😉
