AKC show coming up

Who's going to be watching,I believe it's on Sat on Discovery channel.I love seeing this one.It's neat to see so many different breeds of dogs🙂

I used to watch that religiously, but I haven't in quite a while. :-\ Meh... maybe this time around, since I actually paid attention to when it's on. Makes me wonder where my miniature pure-breed beagle would place 🙂

Beagles have a nasty habit of eating their own poop. I wouldn't want one of them licking my face.

Beagles have a nasty habit of eating their own poop. I wouldn't want one of them licking my face.

Not mine. Mine is prissy. Mine won't go outside if it rains because she doesn't like walking on wet dirt/grass/concrete.

She's SO SPOILED.

Surprisingly, she's somewhat long-legged for a beagle. She stands 11.5" tall at the shoulder and most of it is leg. I don't understand at all. Both her parents had their papers and were both the standard stocky beagle. But mine was also the runt of the litter, first to bark, first to open her eyes, and first to play with the kitties in the house we bought them from. 😀 She's one-of-a-kind.

I used to show dogs as a hobby (papillons and dobermans... go figure)... even got an AKC Championship on one of my papillons.

If you go to a show in your area, you'll get a chance to see various breeds up close, and visit with some of the top breeders in your area. Good way to find a dog you'd enjoy. 😀
