Akai Super-slim Progressive Scan DVD Player - $99.98

Sam's Club online and B&M have the AKAI Super-slim Progressive Scan DVD Player model DVPS-760 (Item# 134324) for $99.98. Don't know anything about it but it looks the part. Here is a photo of it. Bound to be better quality than Apex too. It says it's firmware upgradable but I doubt if there's a region/macrovision hack around yet.

Sam's Club also carries the Daewoo 5800 for $89.00, which I think is the best deal for a great DVD player right now. However, for more info on the Akai, check out this thread at nerd-out.com.
