Was wondering I own a ak31a 1.4 thunderbird system with and i'm useing a 350 enermax psu.

Does this sound like i'm useing to much power. Seems fine when i just run spec below but if i add something then seems like its not happy. How do you tell if the psu is working to hard. On average what is a 350 enermac capable of.

ak31a 1.4 thunderbird running with a VANTEC CCK-6035D(cpu fan is not running off motherboard)
fasttrack 100tx2 with 4 hard drives 2 60gxp 40 gigs/ 2 maxtor 40 gigs
toshiba dvd
2 lan cards
live 5.1
2 80mm case fans
ati 7500
pc is on 24-7
winxp os
probably about 7 month old system

Thanks

I would try using "motherboard monitor 5", a free download. But you will have to configure it for your motherboard. When you select the right settings, your cpu temps will run about 47-50 celcius, and system temps will be 28-32 celcius. The power supply 5 volt rail and 12 volt rail settings are what you're after. If they drop too low under load, your system will not run stable. The lowest 5v reading that's acceptable is about 4.8, and the lowest 12 volt reading is about 11.8-11.85.
