AK31A Question

Was wondering if anyone here has seen any issues with with this motherboard and the western digital WD30bb. When installing xp it will create the partition but then when it gets 2 100 percent it errors out and says drive is corupted. Everything is brand new from newegg.

visionteck 32 ddr deal the card thats like 47 bucks
256 ddr from crucial
sony dvd

And thats all thats in the computer

Sounds like you could have received a dud. Double check you're jumper settings on the Hard Drive, and make sure the BIOS detects it right. I know it's not a Windows issue. I've put a WD 30GB Caviar in a system with XP no problem.

Go into the first section of the bios, and use the hardrive auto detect function, save and exit.
