AK31A Beep Codes

Howdy,

My computer just went on the fritz, and I can't seem to find any beep codes associated w/ this motherboard.
Does any have any idea where I can get a list of them?

The award bios is sometimes tweaked by individual board makers so there's not much of a generic list to be found beyond 1 long 2short=video problems all other beep codes=memory problems. There are actually many more so post the code your getting and chances are one of us has the answer for it.
 
I'm actually getting the 1 long, 2 short beeps when I try to POST. I guess I'll check to see if my vid card died. 🙁
 
You may just need to reseat it as they came out of the slot a little sometimes.
 
Tried that. Replaced the vid card as well w/ another backup card I know works. No dice. 😛

Any other suggestions or is it dead?
 
Clear the CMOS with the power unplugged for a couple minutes and if it still won't boot it may be a nuked AGP slot.
 
Ok. I just reseated the old vid card, since your post made me wonder.

It worked. I reseated the Ti500. It worked! Don't ask me. I guess it got bumped out of whack.

Thanks for the tips, though. Glad to see I won't have to blow money on extra upgrades. 🙂
