Just set up an ak31 version 3.1. Did a fresh install to get the onboard sound working. My 1.2 athlon will run at 138 x 10 with kingston and micron memory. Played one game of Links 2001, and the difference was impressive. It's like buying a premium video card upgrade! I wouldn't be surprised if the game ran 50% faster. This board is stable and well worth $90.
 
excellent news, I had to replace my version 2 when my screwdriver slipped of of my SK6. I damamged the traces around the socket, and it refused to start.
