I just bought an AIW x800xt and first installed all the drivers that came on the cd but the tv tuner would not work. It says that my time calibration is off, directx is not up to date, need a video card of at least a radeon, and to install capture driver.

Old driver were removed in safe mode with all the new drivers perfectly installed. I was using direct 9.0c and have installed all the correct drivers from the cd. When all this does not work, I went and downloaded all new drivers but still no go. Can anyone help?

System:
Intel Pentium D 915
1GB Corsair Value Ram
Direct X 9.0c
500 Watt PSU

You know, right before I bought my x850 I remember someone saying there was a reason they'd come down so much in price. I meant to respond to this, but I was hoping for some further knowledge. I'm having a very similar issue, although my install CD works (for the most part), but any other driver I try does not. I think it goes to the catalyst control center, which registers as a 240MB file but if I leave that intact it will still do as you describe. I think AGP users are being phased out from the support queue. You can access older drivers and MMC in the menu to the left on their support page. I filed a ticket, I recommend you do the same. Here's their generic response to the ticket I wrote:

Greetings!
To properly install the newest ATI display drivers and multimedia components (only necessary for All in Wonder and VIVO products), you must first download the software. Visit the Drivers and Software section of our website and navigate to the relevant downloads for your operating system and video card.

Full software and hardware installation instructions can be found at:
http://www.ati.com/install

The article will guide you through the whole process of uninstalling old drivers and installing the new ATI drivers for your video card. You will also find instructions to help you install a new video card if you are installing an ATI graphics card for the first time.

If you are having problems finding the drivers for your card, please click on the following link:

If these suggestions don?t help to resolve your issues, please respond to the ticket and one of our qualified support representatives will assist you. To respond to this ticket you must visit http://support.ati.com and login to My Support.

Thank you for choosing ATI!
