AIW X800 XT AGP for $267.21 shipped from Dell AR

There was a 10% off coupon that expired already making it ~$254 AR. If anybody else finds another coupon that can be used to bring this down some more lmk, I'm thinkin about ordering one.

I've been looking all over for a stackable coupon to use with this deal and nothing so far. Dell did just drop the price a bit though was like $288 yesterday AR.

The same card is at Newegg for $330...I don't see how tax kills the deal for you....

Compared to prices elsewhere for the same card, it a relative bargin; however, I wouldn't pay close to $300 for ANY video card.

My comfort zone for a video card purchase is <$200.00. I could justify paying ~$250-$260 for this card ONLY because it's an AIW (i.e., I'd be willing to pay $200 for a ~top-end video card and $50 for a TV Tuner/Capture card OR $250 for an AIW).

We all "draw a line in the sand" with the prices we're willing to pay and the above is mine;-).

I'm running two 9800 Pros at the moment, so I can still play all the games I want with good visual quality. The X800 line of cards will EASILY be priced between $180 to $200 (or less) in 6 months to a year from now. I'll wait 6-12 months and pick up a X800 XT or X850 XT when they at least meet my treshold price.

Regards,

Bud

Looks like the rebate isn't a Dell exclusive. You can get the card anywhere as long as it's a BBA AIW X800 XT ATI will honor it. Directron's advertising the rebate too: Link.

And so is Newegg: Link.

I guess it really depends on what your cost/value perception is...

for me, 60 bucks to get a new video card 6 months earlier is totally worth it to me. It's practically paying 10$ a month, less than what people pay to play WoW.

It also depends on how much difference you'll see in between your current card and this new card. I run an AIW 9700 pro and i really need something a lot fast to keep up with the new games... i figure, i'd pay 60 bux just to have my card now and enjoy it rather spend the next 6 months moping around and groaning, complaining, whining about how crappy BF2 runs... 290 tax added is not a bad price to pay for XT x800 with 256 mb, and price drops are just too long to wait for. my card is prolly worth around 250 bux still, and i got it from my friend for 150 used about a year and a half ago. grab a good deal when u see one, u just might regret it later... =)

Am I missing something? I get a link for a $380 card with a $50 ATI coupon. I can get it down to $292 after the ATI rebate with a Dell coupon, but $292 is a bit of a ways from $267. The coupon I entered is for $38 off of $350 or more. Is there a better coupon I am not aware of?

Too bad you missed out. it was 317 + tax = 349, then minus the 50 dollar rebate... so you would have saved around 70 bux if you bought it early...

but good thing, you didn't get it, i have to wait a couple weeks since it's BACKORDERED!!! ships july 21st... =( UGH
