AIW Video Recording problem !!!

I have an ATI AIW 128 Pro, little old but still does the job. I record TV shows fairly regularly. Lately the sound & video are a little off. You know, the words/sound isnt insink when people are opening their mouths. Not sure what the problem is? Anyone else have a similiar problem.

Are you dropping frames? If nothing else has changed, maybe you need to defrag your capture drive, also maybe your hardrive has less free space available and its writing to the outside tracks of the platter, slowing your transfer rate, although you would be probably using MPEG capture which doesn't require as much ide bandwidth, so thats pretty unlikely.

I'll do some checking! How do you like your AIW 7500. Its going for a fairly decent price right now and I was thinking about getting one. Does the remote work pretty good?
