AIW video capture problem

Seems like whenever I try to record (digital VCR) with either the TV Tuner setting or composite, the sound is recorded as if the line in volume is cranked. The video is okay, but the play back volume is twice as loud as when recorded. I've checked the line-in volume, which is set near the bottom. Anyone have any clues. I'm using the onboard sound - ECS K7S5A MB and ATI multimedia center 7.1.

Try using MMC 7.5.

I tried finding the 7.5 version on ATI's site but did not see a downloadable version, just a message stating that the software came on a CD. Is there another link? Also, will it work with a straight Radeon on Win2K?

Make sure you're adjusting the line level for the "record" control.
