aiw tv color sometimes becomes washed out

I've always had a problem with my AIW 9600 Pro -- when watching tv, the color suddenly becomes washed out and the picture becomes fuzzy. It has occured with every single catalyst driver and multimedia center.

might be related to heat, but the case temps aren't very high (33C)

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Speaking of the 9600AIW Pro...i just bought one. Besides this issue, is it a good card?

yeah it's a good card.

i also find that when i change the channels after my problem occurs, my issue is resolved. so i'm guessing it's a software issue

The quality will often be less if you have TV-On-Demand enabled. Make sure it's disabled. It's usually disabled by default, though.

And I think the 9600Pro is a pretty good card for the price. Overclocks very well. Mine's at 500 core, 350 mem.
