AIW Radeon Troubles

I was wondering if anyone has encountered this, and wondering if it could be the card itself

The card I have is a ATI Radeon All-in-Wonder 32mb AGP

The problem is that the ATI WDM Rage Theater Video and ATI WDM Rage Theater Audio is comming up with exclamation mark stayting that the device could not start. I have tried the latest drivers from ati's website and no luck, I have also tried the previous versions to and they do not work. I thought i might be a resource conflict so i tried to remove all cards and tried again still same thing. Also tried it under Windows ME and Windows XP Home, and also tried it in another machine and still does the same thing.

So, just wondering if there is something im missing or if its time to rma the card?

There are three things that you need to install to make the card work:
Catalyst drivers
Control Panels
WDM drivers (for VIVO)

The WDM drivers provide support for the Rage Theater chip. Did you install all of these and how?

yep, i have installed them according to ati's web site...
installed the WDM drivers ... say no to reboot
installed the catalyst drivers.... reboot
installed the control panels ..... reboot

checked device manager... still yellow ! on the ATI WDM Rage Theater Video and ATI WDM Rage Theater Audio

This is how I've been told (and always sucessfully done it myself) to install (after removing all old versions):
1. Install Catalyst drivers. No reboot.
2. Install Control Panels. No reboot.
3. Install WDM drivers. Reboot.

While I don't think that the order matters so much, the rebooting does. Try doing it this way, and see if it makes a difference.
