AIW Radeon record playback problem with mp2 file, any suggestions.

When I record tv it creates the mp2 file but whenever I try to view it, I get the RManager error can't open the file. I have read the
ATI infobase article but no matter where I put it I still get the error. Any suggestions. I'm using 98 with the 4.12.3056 drivers. Another thing you'd think that ATi would let you choose another codec instead of their own but no. Is this possible.

well well well, it just goes to show you how much I know about this (it's still new), if you choose AVI you can then choose the codec of your choice. so I choosed divx and bingo everything worked. I think that the mp2 problem is known by ATi but who cares if you can use divx as your codec, screw mp2.
