where is the video soap options? i look just about everywhere and i cant find them. i seen anand talk about them, so i know that they should be there somewhere, but where.

MMC TV applet>Setup>Personal Video Recorder>check "DVD" preset>Map Preset...>Edit Video Soap

Pretty damn cool, It works for MPEG, MPEG-2 and ATI VCR formats.

cool, thanks. never noticed that button before. and it also works with the other formats also, not just the dvd. but i have another question now. how do i use it to clean up streaming video from the net?

You use Fullstream for that. You have to use a player and supported format...currently the "real one" player on the AIW CD is the only supported player, with real media the oonly supported format.

thanks again, i was trying it with windows media, but i will swith over to real player now.

dude, i feel so stupid, you are practically walking me thru this and i am still lost. where in real player is the option for fullstream? i loaded realplayer from the disk. do i need a superpass to use it?

I'm isn't so smart neither:) Unless I'm mistaken, all you need is to install Real Player and it is enabled and working. Personally, I've yet to put it to the test and what little info I've read, I see nothing in the player or on Real Networks or ATI's site that says you need do anything but install the player? I did read that WMP version is being beta tested presently and Divx and ATI are partnered up for a Divx player. Fullstream will be making more noise soon hopefully.
