I'm looking for a good video capture and gaming 3D card, and have narrowed the selection to:
AIW Radeon 32 DDR and the Radeon 64 DDR VIVO. The prices are around $195 and $150, respectively.
The usage will break down as 70% 2D, 10% 3D games, and 20% video capture/playback. The most important is the video capture because I have lots of hi-8 videotapes I want to archive to mpeg-2/VCD/DVD (sentimental value).
The bottom line question: If I don't care about the tuner, would the 64 DDR VIVO be just as good (if not better) for my needs? Also, do they come with the same software apps? It will be going into a T-Bird 1.4GHz, 512MB DDR, 60GB HD, Epox 8k7a.
Experiences/comments welcome.
