have a Gateway MCE pc. It is a X2 4200, 2 gigs of ram and a 300 gig HD. It has a tv tuner already installed, my question is, if I bought a AIW x1800xl with the tv tuner, number one, is it even possible to run two seperate tv tuners and 2 if it is possible, could i have 2 tv screens going at the same time??

Yes you can have two tuners at once, you can have lots more than that if you try. 2 TV screens? Depends on the way you set the software up and how you do the hardware. Should be ok.

My experience is that AIW doesn't work all that well with MCE in a dual tuner setup. I experience signal loss when using AIW with an additional tuner in MCE 2005.

Likely your MCE rig shipped with a hardware encoder, so you can simply add an additional hardware tuner if you have a spare PCIe/PCI slot. Probably best to use the same chipset on the tuners to avoid driver conflicts as well.

You cannot have 2 TV screen at the same time using the MCE application, but you can record on while watching another. You can get probably two different TV screen with 3rd party apps, but depending on what you are doing exactly, it won't be a very polished solution with audio/video issues that have to be addressed.
