AIW 9800 + Sony PS2

I just finished building my PC and I am extremely satisfied with it except for one thing. When I connect my PS2 to my AIW 9800 VIVO I can see the picture for the PS2 but there are no sounds coming out of my speakers. I have the sound blaster extigy and klipsch promedia 5.1 speakers. I really don't undersatnd why sound isn't coming out of the speakers, I also tried to connect line in but it wouldn't work either. If anyone had this problem or knows how to fix it, please help. Thanks!

If you are using S-video in, it only carries the video signal and you'll have to conect the RCA audio output of the PS2 into the audio inputs on the purple VI thingy also.

yea I figured it out actually, you just plug in the vivo thing into video in then plug the PS2 into the VIvo, and the composite video cables into video out, then connect the audio cable from the composite video into line-out on your sound card then sound comes out of your speakers!

The only problem is I need a line-in cable extender cause the one that comes with the vid card is too short and can't reach the extigy. Are there any I can order online?

Well I went to radio shack today and got a headphone plug extender which fit into the wire for the video out and then I connected it to my line in of my sound card which is external, not internal...if it was internal I wouldn't have a problem with the setup, but the external confused me a little anyway, I connected it and it works great. It's so bad ass, PS2 on my Viewsonic P90f monitor plus sound out of my 5.1 klipsch speakers!!! Man playing console games was never this good. I might sell my VGA Monitor with my multi-VGA converter(can connect anything with rca cables to a monitor) and stereo speakers and just connect my dreamcast to my PC as well. I wonder how much I could get for my VGA setup?
