I'm wondering if anyone out there has had this kind of problem. I popped in my AIW 9600xt and when I booted up, my LCD monitor told me that the frequency was out of its range, the vertical refresh rate being 87Hz while my monitor is only capable of up to 75Hz. Is this a problem with my card?
The way I got around it was I found my old AIW 7500, installed the updated catalyst drivers for it, then put my AIW 9600xt in my comp and let it run long enough for the automatic hardware drivers to be intsalled. Upon reboot everything was fine. Is there a way I can install this card normally? I'm planning on selling my AIW 7500. Thanks for the help!
