AIW 9000 Pro - Hardware MPEG-2 encoding?

I just can't find the answer to this anywhere. I'm trying to decide between this card and a Hauppauge PVR-350 for Tivo-like abilities.

Hmm... As long as you're certain that's what "Analog video capture and editing in MPEG-2 format" means and it's not requiring the processor to handle the task via software. I'd feel better if there was a line that said "hardware MPEG-2 encoding" somewhere in there. 😉

AIW 9000 Pro is not a hardware MPEG-2 encoder, all AIW cards use software MPEG-2 encoding with the exception of the AIW 9700/9800 which uses the cobra engine for a slight 5-10% assist with MPEG-2 encoding.
