im just curious, i bought a AIW 9000 to prevent me from playing games while at school, yet i cant seem to pass up on doom 3. If i purchased a ATI 9200 256 will i be able to still watch tv with the aiw even tho the monitor is connected to the ati 9200?

thanks

The AIW 9000 will be faster than the PCI 9200 anyway...don't bother.

In Windows, the AIW has to be the "primary" video-card. Also, the 9200 is really just a 9000 with AGP 8x support, as I understand it. If your AIW is really an AIW 9000 'Pro', then it will be faster. If not, it will be the same speed, although being AGP and not PCI, then it should still be faster. Don't make the mistake of thinking that just because D3 prefers a 256MB video card, and you can get a 9200 with 256MB onboard, that you will actually be able to play D3 on that 9200. (Especially if it's PCI.) Same advice goes for a GF FX 5200 with 256MB, plenty of RAM, but the card is too slow to actually make any worthwhile use of it.
