AIW 8500DV Audio problems Help!

Hope you can help me.

I'm running an ATI AIW 8500DV and am having audio problems. On the TV there is a slight delay between the video and the audio. In addition, the mute button and the volume control on the ATI control panel does not work. The audio is there anbd sounds good but it's just not controllable through the audio controls provided by ATI.

My system:
ATI 8500DV - used the drivers provided on the CD
ECS L7S7A2 and Athlon 1800+
Using built in audio on motherboard
Windows 2k with SP2
512K memory
120 and 80 GB hdds

No other video card or video drivers have been installed with this clean install of W2K

u can try and download the new drivers... i had the same problem
it works fine now
but when i bring up the guide i notice that i still get the audio lagging behing the video stream

I think I am using the latest drivers but I'll check.
