Which one of these provides the best for capturing in video? I plan on doing a lot of video editing and I want
a card that will give me the best quality picture. If you guys could give me some idea it would be greatly appreciated.
 
When it comes to video capture, video editing, TV-OUT, or any other multimedia function controlled by a video card ATi takes the cake over NVIDIA anyday. Go with the 8500DV unless the multimedia functions are secondary to gaming performance. It doesn't sound like that is the case, however.
