AIUGB 2400+?

Currently, I've got an XP 2400+ AIUCB Week 42. I've heard rumors of an AIUGB stepping out, and I've been trying to find it. Has anyone gotten one? If so, where? Also, does anyone know any retailers who will hand pick steppings (for a fee or not)? I've exhausted eBay, asking all the sellers.. but so far, I've only turned up AIUCB.

I'm not looking for a "deal" on it, so long as it's about average I don't care -- I just need to find one first! 😀

Yes, I have an AIUGB Week 44, won from the AMD event.

Currently, I only get it stable at 12.5*163@2.05Ghz, since my memory is not good enough, but pretty good for only rated at PC2100 though. Also, unfortunately I unlocked the CPU at the beginning, so I only get the highest multiplier of 12.5 on A7N8X.

I read the Anandtech article, said the A7N8X will automatically unlock the process. I guess I will remove the copper wire later from my CPU, see how high it can be pushed after I get some higher multiplier. 😀

Update:
I got it over to 200FSB last week. 11.5*200 = 2.3GB with air cooling. 😀😀 Working great with my Crucial PC2100 & A7N8X, Check My Thread over here.

I just picked an AIUGB Week 44 off Ebay. Appears to be another "Giveaway" one. Damn lucky bastards. 🙂 Now to sell my AIUCB Week 42. LOL. All this for a 2 week difference, hah!

I have the aiugb, I also got it from the AMD event, PIB(processor in box)

has anyone heard if this is a particularly good overclocker? and how do you tell what the letters mean?

I have AIUGB0244WPFW

AIUGB........Stepping
02..............2002

WPFW........Weekly Produced For Winners (just kidding)🙂

Too lazy to link the AMD website for ya.😛

Hey. I won that CPU from the AMD event too. I was looking online to try and determine how much it would cost and ran into the Thorobred A/B issue. Anyone know where I can read about that? Or maybe just feel like giving me a quick description of the differences? I knew the Thorobred core was based on the smaller .13 micron process, but I hadn't heard there was more than one type. 🙂

D.
