Airsoft handgun question

i'm new the the whole airsoft scene. i did a little reasearch and found out that tokyo marui makes one of the best airsoft guns. i'm interested in buying the tokyo marui USP spring pistol. the description says it is air cocking. does this mean that it cocks it automatically everytime i shoot, or do i have to cock it manually after every shot?
 
Manually.

All manuals are called springers.
Then there're gas guns, NBB (non-blowback) and GBB (gas blowback).
And then there are AEGs (Auto Electric Guns)

EDIT: Try and hold the guns beforehand and see how they fit. I personally love the USP, but the grip is too big and my hand doesn't grasp it as well as I'd like. The 1911 fits me much better.

Who's posing? People buy airsoft for airsoft games, not for "posing." You can't exactly play a game with real guns...

We just happen to like a hobby that you don't. Both adults and adolescents play airsoft... so what?
 
It's not worth having a springer. Get a gas gun. I have a uhc usp springer and a uhc usp gas....Gas owns x10. Then I realized airsoft was lame and sold everything.

Just curious, if you find airsoft to be stupid, then what other prupose then trolling did you have by entering this thread that is clearly titled to be about airsoft?




I would personally get a gas handgun, they feel much more realistic to me. And, if you have to switch from your main rifle (especially if its an AEG) on a reload to a your sidearm, nothing is worse than having to manually cock it in that situation.

it'll be my first airsoft gun. as a newb, i thought it would be appropriate to start out with a newb gun. 😛

Ooooh, I wonder if this will fit on this or this. I'm looking for a pistol and silencer (I have the G36 with some add-ons).

do the silencers actually work, or are they just for show? AEGs are pretty quiet as it is.

They are just for show. Airsoft BB's get no where near supersonic speed for the need to have them slowed down so they do not make a cracking sound like a bullet.
