I was asked to find an All-In-One (printer/copier/scanner) that is "Airprint" compatible. I don't really know what airprint is tho...does the device manufacturer need to specifically have drivers for the iphone/pad, etc., or will any wireless AIO do?

Suggestions for a budget AIO device fitting this description?

I think that if you go to the big printer manufacture's websites you can search by Airprint supported devices. Also if you go to Apple's site you can see which ones they offer.

Airprint devices are limited, I use Hacktivator to enable Airprint support on my printer, but your computer has to be on for it to work.

I see, it's a way to print directly from the device w/o computer needing to be on, so I understand what you mean using hactivator with the computer needing to be turned on. Ok, that's a start. I'll look into devices now. Thanks for the info.

I am personally using an OfficeJet 8500A and the printer has been working like a charm. They also have an upgraded model that can scan front and back through the feeder and has space for legal size paper. Let me know if you have any questions about the printer :)

I use the HP B110A/CN245A printer by HP. I wasn't aware of the Airprint feature when I bought it, but it works great with my iPad :)

It looks like HP is the only one at this point that advertises airprint as a built-in feature, but Epson seems to have a utility to add the functionality to some of theirs.

I have an HP Officejet 6500A. It's been on sale at NewEgg a few times for ~$100.
