Ok, so My dad bought my family and I a time capsule a few months back which he was using as a print server for a couple months until it went out. Here's the weird thing, I had xp installed on my macbook pro, and now have it installed on my hp pavilion media center and they both utilize airport and the drive fine. I also have a 6 month old custom build running 7 that uses it fine. The hp, and custom build are just plugged in through ethernet, the laptop with leo 10.5 and windows 7 pro obviously not so much.
So back to the dell laptop. I go into the firewall settings and it has access as well as reinstalled the program. When I go into the airport utility I get the "failed to find your apple wireless device" message. However, when I go and say File>Configure New... it allows me to insert the IP address and change the settings, but it still will not detect how it is supposed to naturally, So we cannot move on to figure out how to get bonjour to create a printer.
I was thinking it was something with the corporate security it has, or windows has gone and corrupted one of the files it uses for wireless printing.
I am normally pretty advanced when it comes to these kinds of things. I am pretty experienced with both pc and mac (no fooling, I was brought up on windows). So anything you have me do in either os I will be pretty familiar with. I hope I can find a solution or at least pinpoint the problem. We've been trying to fix this for weeks.
