The day we start blaming people for something those of the same faith (or race, or social background) do is the day we start thinking about making them all sew little religious symbols to their clothing and maybe give 'em a bar code tattoo on their arm.
Yeah, yeah, I'm exaggerating...but comments like yours are where it always starts. Either we live in a country where what you personally do is how we judge you, or we don't. Anything else is just fascist bullshit, dressed up in national security (which it always is).
Perhaps you missed it, but this is not government judging or imposing blame on all Muslims because of the actions of other Muslims. This is some Muslims objecting on behalf of their religion to the things forced on ALL of us because of the actions of some Muslims. We as a society are going out of our way to NOT judge all Muslims for the actions of some, to the arguably insane point that singling out an obvious Arab or Muslim for additional security attention requires more indicators than for someone not a member of those groups. Indeed, our government singled out veterans, abortion foes, fundamentalist Christians, and Second Amendment supporters as potential terrorists, NOT Muslims. Reflexively squealing "Nazi!" every time a Muslim doesn't want to do something we all now have to do because of other Muslims is amusing to the rest of us, but not very useful.
