Since the headphone jacks are rated in milliwatts the answer is no.

(my only complaint is that it requires a PSP power cord to charge... but I found a A/C adaptor with a similar voltage and the same size plug that worked fine.

I considered making them, I even priced out the cost of all the parts- I just can't compete with Asia mass manufacturing, though.
