In order to utilize 'MIMO' you will need the Airlink router. ;)

but that was the router not the adapter right

and shouldn't this be compatible with other MIMO wireless g routers?

Just got the airlink pci adaptor installed today. Comes with a 3 antenna extension that you can position to help you get extended range so the pci vs usb antenna issue is irrelevant. So far its running excellent. It gets a consistant 54mbps connection with my Wireless G router in another room about 75 feet away with doors closed. Since my router is not MiMo, I can't test the Airlink's MiMo capabilities.

On broadband speedtests the Airlink consistantly achieves 7.6-7.7 Mbps dl and 350-360 kbps upload. My wired setup also achieves the same speeds. Advertised Speeds are 8 Mbps download and 384 kbps upload.
