AirForce Condor Air Rifle- .22 Caliber 1250+ FPS

Condor While other air gun manufacturers struggle to break 1200 feet per second in .177, the new Condor easily achieves 1250 in .22 making it the most powerful pellet gun known in this caliber. Premium Lothar Walther barrels insure accurate pellet delivery. The integral scope rail has been lengthened to allow mounting the largest air gun scopes or other specialized optical sighting devices. Additional dovetail rails allow mounting lasers, bipods, and other accessories to provide the shooter with a powerful and adaptive air gun shooting system.

I'll rather my Savage Varmit 112 BVSS .22-250 over this anytime. Muzzle Velocity's rated at 3860 w/ federal ammuntion power-shok(tm) 55 grain, soft point.

There are much more powerful airguns than this. I remember a few years ago hearing of one that shot 9mm pellets. And I saw one on the Outdoor Channel a while back that shot 40 caliber pellets over 1500 feet per second. The guy said he had taken deer over 100 yards with it!

Young kid not old enough to own an actual rifle?

More likely reasons:

1) Interest in the technology and craftsmanship in such intricate mechanisms.
2) Quiet shooting without silencers.
