Ihave a E6300 and DS3, at Idle I get 38 CPU, 34 System with main fan blowing out. I get 32 CPU and 43 system with fan blowing in.
I don't have that much room, but I do have a 120mm fan on the side of the case blowing in, it blows twards the Ram and CPU. I have a couple of 80mm fans lower which I have blowing out right now. but they don't really seem to do much.
I have space in the front for 80mm fans, and in the back for a smaller fan.
Edit: just added that small fan blowing out the back, and my system went down from 43 to 38. CPU still running at 32.
