Airdroid?

I've been using airdroid. It seems ok but I was wondering if there was a way to cause new text messages and new emails to pop up a balloon on my Win7 system tray?

Mighty text appears to be browser based, just like airdroid. Are you sure mighty text would generate system tray notifications on my desktop? What happens if my browser isnt open?

Honestly not sure. I just know know that it's a chrome extension. I use the MotoConnect feature through my MotoX and it's a chrome extension as well. You need to have chrome "open" but not necessarily maximized and it will pop up a notification under it's own icon in the system tray.

I tried pushbullet. About 20 minutes later I got a bluescreen, some ata something something device error I dont even have any ata devices... Not sure what to make of this app now.

update: So I got another bluescreen. It is in ataport.sys. So goodbye pushbullet. A good concept, but I will not remain a test vehicle for unstable software. Is there anything else out there that actually works?

Pushbullet worked wonders for me. How odd that it gave you bluescreens. Maybe a coincidence? It's just a browser addon so it shouldn't affect your system with serious error like that.

I used the pushbullet windows client rather than the browser based client. I'm sure the browser one is safer/ more stable.

One thing airdroid cant seem to be able to do is check snapchat messages.

Ah that explains it. I didn't even know that there's a windows client
