aircraft paint remover - bumper safe?

Audiotherapy

Senior member
is it safe to apply aircraft paint remover on bumper (plastic or fiberglass)?
Update: I think the answer is no... so I'll stick with sandpapers

and where's a good place to order autopaint based on my factory color code?

thanks!

What chemicals are in it?

Isopropanol based solvents can eat some plastics. Without knowing what's in it, I couldn't say.

For paint based on your color code....what kind of car do you have?

How much paint are you talking about?

I don't know of a good source for Mazda stuff.

I get Nissan stuff from Courtesy Nissan, but it's touch-up volumes - you talking more than just some touchup? Sounds like you want to repaint a large portion of the bumper.

You'll need clearcoat too.
