Any intrest in having that subject ib the Social section?

There always seems to be an element that shows intrest in the application of Science and Technology.
Whenever there is a NASA release about the Space Program, Boeing of Airbus introducing a new model,
or even when they get caught up in some form of negative press, as group of people post their views and questions.

Boeing, for example just is introducing their new 787 Dreamliner model, Airbus continues to develop the A380 Flying City.

NASA is winding down the Space Shuttle, which is scheduled to have it's final flight in just three years from now, in 2010,
and NASA is just releasing contract awards for their next phase of space flight - Project Orion, to replace the Shuttle.
Flight of a new, but 'Retro' type of space craft, which is designed to evolve into not just oribital capabilities,
but supply missions to the ISS, flight to the Moon, and eventually to Mars as the program matures from Aeres I to Aeres V.

Commercial endevers are also on the horizon, Virgin plans to fly tourist into sub-orbital space, and close proximity re-entry - for a price.
Rutan had the SpaceShip One that picked up the cash prize for a non-govermental, private space endevour.

Kistler RocketPlane has their K-1 unmanned dead-lifter under construction which is designed to carry heavy equipment to the ISS.

And the International Space Station continues to evolve, bizzare problems and all.
